Appointments

Appointments are available Monday-Friday from 8am on the telephones or 6.30am online click here please refer to our privacy notice when using this service.

Appointments will initially be a telephone discussion were they will assess your needs and urgency.  If they decide you need to be seen for examination they will give you an appointment for this

Please remember that it is not always necessary to see a GP. A Practice Nurse or a Health Care Assistant, or another service such as an Optician or Community Pharmacy, may be more appropriate and for this reason, receptionists have been trained to cover a more diverse role as Care Navigators.

At times of peak demand, we may need to direct you to one of our GP led clinics at Rochdale Urgent Care Centre.

Help us to help you:

  • Your appointment is for one person only
  • Please ensure you are available to take the call on the agreed morning or afternoon session, unfortunately we are unable to give exact times as each telephone consultation may vary in length, However if you miss the call you may have to rebook an appointment.
  • You may receive a text message reminding you of a appointment time and date but please remember this maybe at telephone consultation if that was what you were informed at the time of booking.

Internet Messages

You may now also use the secure online messaging facility to leave written messages for members of the clinical team. Please note that these messages may be answered by another member of the clinical staff if the recipient is absent and can only be dealt with on a non urgent basis.

Please note that for reasons of confidentiality we are not prepared to leave messages on voicemail or answering systems because there is no guarantee that they will be received by the person for who they are intended.
